Project Title: BESCOM [Data auditing module]

Client: Government of Karnataka.

• Technology used: Java 1.8, J2EE, Hibernate 5, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax.
• Server specification: Tomcat 9.0.
• Database used: Oracle 12c.

Summary

• It is the Karnataka State Government BESCOM application. Which includes multiple logins: AET, AEE, AAO, Section, and admin, etc. The main motto is to audit the electricity loss all over the feeder and DTC (transformer) in the Karnataka divisions and sub-divisions.

Responsibilities

• To understand government requirements and develop the functionality specific to the business, application, and presentation logic, and to integrate it with the product.
• Developing remediation for different modules.
• Assisted the team both technically and functionally, providing various approaches and solutions that developed new functionalities in the application.
• Every month, the final and initial readings of the feeder and DTC will be recorded, and complete auditing is done by the application automatically. Month-wise losses will be calculated and listed out for the feeders and DTCs.
• The process of capturing readings from the consumer to the top feeder, and auditing the data captured.
• Generated month- and year-wise, user-friendly reports to list out all the losses affected by the electricity.
• Involved in manual testing of the application.
• Analyzing the issues to find the problem and make necessary changes in the code to fix the issue.

Project title: Coffee Board.

Client: Government of Karnataka.

• Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular.
• Back End Technologies: Spring Data JPA, Spring Boot.
• RDBMS Application: MySQL Server Management.
• Tools Used: Spring Tool Suite.

Summary:

• The core activities of the board are primarily directed toward research and development, technological improvements, quality improvement, extending development support to the growing sector, and the promotion of coffee in international and domestic markets.

Responsibilities:

• As a developer, I was involved in designing the UIs using HTML, CSS, and Angular.
• Implemented the code in Java using Spring Boot.
• Given the priorities for various users, such as the admin, depot manager, and employees.
• Developed and maintained software applications using Java and Python, improving system efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions, enhancing project delivery timelines.
• Conducted rigorous testing and debugging of code to ensure software reliability and performance, minimizing downtime.
• Implemented Agile methodologies in project workflows, resulting in improved team collaboration and faster release cycles.
