A competent professional with good technical knowledge on various systems of aircraft like aircraft structures, environmental control system, flight controls system like fly by control system, landing gears, hydro mechanical system, avionics system, payloads fitted on aircraft and propulsion system of different types of aircraft. 27 years of experience on operator, intermediate and D level maintenance of various systems of aircraft. As enterprising team leader, headed a project in a disciplined & organized environment for establishing an ROH facility for aircraft. The tasks undertaken in brief towards this is as follows. Preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for establishing the ROH facility. Periodical review of this DPR with all stakeholders and ensure it is aligned with objectives of the organization. Mastered the ROH technology from HAL. Thereafter, formulated work packages, work records and spares complimenting sheets for better accounting of spares. Formation of small teams of workforce based on their skill set and were trained in different modules of ROH. The team consisted of engineers and 200 technicians. Studied and identified the Test benches/tooling required for ROH. These were then designed and developed partnering with private Indian companies like M/s Nexa, Mumbai. Establishment of aircraft structural defect identification/repair, Non-destructive testing and other MRO facilities for ROH of aircraft. Budgeting and forecasting the requirement of resources which includes manpower, spares and other infrastructural requirements for ROH. The task also involved procurement and indigenization of spares envisaging their critical requirement in expanding the ROH facility. Periodical review of the work flow process through use of quality control management and lean principles to enhance reliability of the product and optimization of the work process. Life extension studies for aircraft components were also undertaken for assigning new TBO and TTL life. Part of a core team involved in working out plans and requirements for participation of IAF in Ex Redflag at USA. Had coordinated with different defense forces like USAF, French Air & Space force and UAEAF for the said exercise. Trained at HAL in all modules of ROH aircraft. Involved in modification committee meetings with AURDC HAL, DGAQA and CEMILAC. This also included spares indigenization for fleet in liaison with HAL and fleet management groups controlled by organizations higher echelons. Experience in ROH of K-36 DM 3.5 series of ejection seat developed by M/s NPP Zvezda, Russia. As senior fleet management officer, was responsible for fleet management of two different types of aircraft. Also served a instructor as senior training instructor to train aeronautical engineers for IAF. Involved in AI project along with M/s Mathworks in developing a proof of concept for detection and early reporting of failures in aeroengines.
