  • Total Clinical Hours: 400+ hours across core laboratory departments.
  • Hematology (90 hours): Operated Beckman Coulter DxH 550 and DxH Slidemaker Stainer II analyzers, read 80+ blood smears and differantials, and performed daily QC on analyzer.
  • Chemistry (105 hours): Conducted high-throughput testing using the Beckman Coulter DxC 700 AU and DxI 800 (700+ specimens); performed daily QC on analyzer once, performed blood gas levels.
  • Bloodbank (157): Performed ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching via manual methods and using the Orthovision Swift.
  • Urinalysis (40): Conducted automated microscopic exams via Beckman Coulter Aution Max (AX-4030) & Iris iQ200 analyzer and manually conducted microscopic examinations.
  • Coagulation (30): Processed specimens on Werfen ACL TOP 550. Approximately 300+ coagulation studies performed during this time.
