Electronic Execution Operation Centre is a project that supports electronic trading platform where the clients can place trading orders electronically and it is mainly for Institutional investors. Fix Client Connectivity, FCC in short is a system used by Deutsche Bank for equity trading. FCC system provides the infrastructure for transfer of trade orders and execution reports between internal and external clients. FCC responsibilities include:
FCC uses a FIX protocol for sending and receiving messages in its system. The responsibility of FCC is to setup the connections for different clients, maintaining the sessions, parsing the FIX messages, routing them to the appropriate desks on the trading floor and routing execution reports from the desk back to the appropriate clients.
FCC Support member on L2 level to ensure the connectivity and stability of DB infrastructure for equity trading between clients across the world – mainly divided among NY/LN/Asia regions.
Work on prod/uat deployments like configuring the appia engines, writing new codes for routing trades/modification of existing codes as per customer requirements.
