I received this award for initiating and leading a manners and etiquette class aimed at helping younger students develop social confidence, discipline, and respect toward others. I designed interactive sessions that blended practical examples with everyday situations, making the lessons both engaging and relatable.

Program description-
Financial Markets with Honors course offered by Yale University. The course was taught by renowned American economist, Robert J. Shiller. The course delved into topics- market volatility, behavioral finance, and the factors that drive economic bubbles, topics that fascinated me because they connected theory directly to real-world financial events.

I consider myself a well-rounded and holistic student who actively seeks growth and learning in every aspect of life. While academics are important, I have always believed that true learning happens beyond the classroom, through experiences that challenge me physically, mentally, and emotionally. My journey in school has been shaped by a combination of cultural, sports, and service activities, each teaching me invaluable lessons about
perseverance, empathy, and collaboration. My experiences in CAS and IAYP camps further shaped my holistic profile.
Trekking through challenging terrains, learning navigation and survival skills, conducting plantation drives, and restoring a girls on school by collaborating in building fences, walls and painting them have been activities that tested my limits, strengthened my resilience, and taught me the value of patience, planning, and mutual support. These experiences not only built my confidence but also helped me understand that personal growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone and embracing challenges fully.
Participating in the Interact Club has been a deeply rewarding part of my life. Organizing donation drives, distributing food to underprivileged families, and collecting essential medical supplies for heart and liver patients gave me a firsthand understanding of the impact small actions can have on people's lives.
Beach clean-ups and environmental initiatives taught me that contributing to the wider community requires both effort and consistency, and that leadership often means inspiring others to join in creating positive change. Each project left me with a sense of purpose and a renewed appreciation for the power of collective action.
A deeply personal and spiritual part of my journey has been volunteering in seva and langar at my local gurdwara. Preparing, organizing, and serving meals is more than just service it is a practice of compassion, humility, and equality, reflecting the Sikh values that guide me. Every hour spent in seva has reinforced my belief that contributing selflessly to the welfare of others is one of life's most meaningful pursuits.
Additionally, participating in an entrepreneurship challenges allowed me to explore my interest in business and innovation while collaborating with peers to develop creative solutions to real-world problems. From brainstorming ideas and conducting market research to designing a business model and presenting our pitch, I honed my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability, strategic thinking, and persistence, while also giving me a firsthand understanding of how ideas can be transformed into practical solutions that impact communities.
Earlier in my school journey, during 9th and 10th grade, I actively participated in my school's cricket team. Representing the school on the field taught me discipline, strategic thinking, and how to work effectively within a team-lessons that continue to shape how I
approach challenges in service, cultural, and community activities.
Balancing sports, cultural engagement, and community service has allowed me to lead a life that is both dynamic and purposeful. These experiences have taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of contributing meaningfully to the lives of others. They have also given me a deep sense of fulfillment and a motivation to continue exploring, learning, and making a positive difference wherever I can.
