Accomplishments

As a team leader, successfully manage and accomplished more than 170 drilling wells in five different Sedimentary basins of the country. Studies carried out have helped in identification of few potential areas with significant presence of Uranium. Till now two area have discovered for extraction of uranium.

  • Krishna Godavari Basin have shown the potential for pilot scale ISL experiment.
  • Jabalpur area of Son Valley Sector and Suket-Jhalawar of Chambal Valley Sector in Vindhyan basin seems suitable for conventional mining.
  • This is first of its kind experiment where Uranium exploration is being attempted using the Well Log data analysis.
  • Estimated uranium ore resource for the of the areas which will be countless accomplishment for the country.
  • Supervised team of 12 staff members.

Additional Information

Hindrance:

Faced lots of hurdle during the work, the site area belongs to Abyan city of Aden, which was very dangerous place to the work due conflict between north and south Yemen. Several times villager’s came to site and threaten to staffs.

These issues had resolved due to Meeting with villagers with the help of irrigation Ministry. The main focus of the meeting to aware the villager for the benefits of the project.
