My professional interests and research experiences lies in the thematic area of social inclusive policies, public health and well-being and migration. I have gained my work experience from both social development sector (NGO’s, UN Bodies) and academia. Proven expertise in research planning and advocacy strategies, effectively engaging stakeholders to drive impactful projects. Adept at data analysis and report writing, cross cultural communication and varied international experiences. In future I would like to specialize and build expertise in social impactful research projects resulting in policy changes.

  • This research project aimed to explore the health conditions of migrant workers in India during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a senior research associate, I was assigned the task of developing and implementing a successful research plan in collaboration with the principal investigator, and other members of the research team. I also helped direct, coordinate, advise, and lead the research plan, along with the PI, and guided the research assistant in implementing the research plan and guidelines. This position was primarily remote-based project based in India, except for the fieldwork during COVID-19.

  • External Consultant for Allied Health Professionals' (AHPs) Mobility: India-United Kingdom (UK) Programme by the International Labour Organization (ILO), New Delhi, India.
  • I was recruited as a consultant to engage and organize a consultation with different ministries in India and the United Kingdom on the migration of allied health professionals. Communication and coordination with government representatives from both countries, drafting concept notes and other research materials, conducting meetings, and report writing were the responsibilities. The consultation (remote) was successfully conducted, and a report was produced and submitted.

  • The job mandate included planning and organizing documentation and activities, including research, analysis, and writing, especially for the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), with a special focus on the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), producing donor and internal reports, coordinating events, communication, and advocacy with ministries and foreign diplomats, both in India and in Geneva.
