- The centralised PPC department generates monthly forecasts & MRP based on historical data , market trends and sales demand.
- Prior to live execution, the forecast and MRP are run in simulation mode to assess the upcoming load against each work center's capacity. This provides early visibility to balance in-house manufacturing and vendor loads, enabling necessary forecast adjustments before finalization.
- The monthly forecast is updated in the system 15 days in advance. This allows the procurement and intra-plant teams to secure material availability according to respective lead times and establish an advanced 4-week operational plan.
- Subsequently, each FG manufacturing plant executes advance planning in the system, while the central team conducts daily Plan-vs-Actual analysis. In case of production shortfalls, the central team captures the loss reasons from the respective plant and schedules a review meeting. Repetitive losses are analyzed to implement permanent solutions. Concurrently, if issues stem from procurement, maintenance, or process errors, etc the respective departments are notified to drive immediate corrective actions.
- Track materials availability, Shortages, OTD of inter & intra plant.
- Maintain the material master data lead time, lot sizes, safety stock, reorder point, Procurement type, SPK, Strategy, Ind/Collective Req & MIX MRP field.
- I lead the SAP PP (Production Planning) module across 23 plants of LUBI Group, including our international manufacturing facilities. In addition to core PP operations, I actively manage and resolve cross-functional transactions and errors in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.
