  • Created a custom pattern with specialized operations for discovering BMC devices in ServiceNow.
  • Discovered BMC device data using REST API HTTP requests, and customized probes and sensors to ensure the HTTP probe triggered the BMC pattern.
  • Configured custom port numbers to test and activate the BMC pattern during shazzam part of discovery.
  • For network switches and routers, used SNMP-based discovery by modifying the out-of-the-box "Network Switch" pattern to match project requirements98.

  • Created and modified tables to store routing data, mapped them to parent tables, and developed Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules as needed.

  • Developed and maintained a security service using Kerberos for authentication between IBM Cloud virtual machines and their allocated storage, implemented in Go language. Deployed the solution as a Kubernetes pod using Docker and wrote comprehensive test cases with Ginkgo.
