Packaging Lead Role to take care South Asia (India, Bangladesh & Pakistan) for Crop Pro-tection and Seeds.

• Research, innovate, introduce & implement new packaging ideas, initiatives, tech-nologies & solutions for the business. Achieve-deliver packaging solution (“from idea to implementation”).
• Works with internal/external customers, business partners, & other packaging in-volved functions, to establish packaging specifications, to evaluate-conduct testing, feasibility studies, with an emphasis on innovation, functionality compliance. Where required, provides estimates of costs and potential suppliers for functional packaging and equipment.
• Directly undertakes for packaging development work to engineer/ensure its effective translation for packaging supply chain.
• As “Equal Partner” actively engage & deliver on solutions for packaging supply chain towards: Continuous Quality improvement, Cost effectiveness, packaging standards, processes and practice.
• Pro-active and well-connected node Centre within Syngenta Packaging Network (Globally, territorially and at market level). Grow & sustain packaging competence for the businesses in the region.

 USD 0.5 Million cost savings in Packaging materials from last 4 consecutive years in South Asia.
 Corrugated boxes simplification and standardization for India & Bangladesh markets with successful reduction Of 40 nos. Of varieties of corrugated boxes.
 Successful launch of sunlight sensitive (photo-chromatic) printed label, lami-nated pouch and cartons in India & Bangladesh markets as an anti-counterfeit solution for high value products.
 Quality improvement and solution for major bottle leakage complain in Bang-ladesh market.
 Specification document simplification and standardization for South Asia.

• Worked as various capacities in the institute in Laboratory, Consultancy and Training & Education departments.
• To conduct and supervise packaging materials testing at laboratory division of IIP Hydera-bad.
• To test and certify packaging materials for hazardous products exports as per United Na-tions guidelines.
• Review and approval of UN and general test certificates/ reports.
• Packaging design and development consultant for Small and Medium Scale companies.
• Advisory visits and in-house training for different companies as per the requirement of the company.
• Speaker for one day workshop on packaging for MSME-DI (Ministry of Micro, small and medium enterprises, Govt of India).
