  • Identification of implementing partner( TOR preparation, field visit of the prospective partners, screening the budget proposal of prospective partners, documents verification)
  • Planning of the yearly activities (agriculture based income enhancing activities) and budget preparation
  • Orientation of the implementing partner about the project and explaining the activities to be done in the stipulated time period
  • Rapport building with KVK, Agriculture department and Jeevika
  • Handling donor visits and timely submission of the quarterly progress reports for quick fund approvals
  • Weekly and fortnightly review of the implanting partner to monitor their progress

  • Achievements: 750 farmers mobilized to form 50 farmers club across 5 blocks of Sheohar
  • Benefitted the farmers in terms of irrigation sources (50 bore wells, 50 rain guns, 20 set of sprinklers), promoted best practices like SRI, multilayer vegetable production, low cost herbal manures and pesticides
  • Rapport building with KVK which helped farmers to get scientific advice on use of seed varieties, herbal manures and pesticides, training on SRI and zero tillage showing technique
  • Scientists have attended farmers clubs meeting
  • Agriculture department provided subsidies for the vermin compost units to the farmers.
