14. Trouble shooting CNC controllers related alarm, and analysis root cause for failures.
Responsible for Maintaining and troubleshooting the different types of CNC machines like HMC, VMC, CNC grinding, hobbing, turning centers and conventional lathe machines.
Machine break down cause analysis for repeated problems & plan implement the preventive measure.
Expertise in trouble shooting Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens controllers.
Initiate appropriate facility need for manufacturing & ensure all facilities maintained in up condition.
Understanding of electrical systems to effectively design systems, diagnose machine failures, identify root causes, and resolve issues.
Co-ordinate TQM initiates planned time to time – Clit, JH, PM.
Co-ordinate Safety activities and built safe operation culture in line with industry, statutory norms
Ensure right spares are used & stocks maintained in line with critically of application and availability.

Identify knowledge and skill gap of employees in shop floor & initiate appropriate training (related to maintenance & machine usage etc.) & develop competency for multi-tasking
Monitor and control CNC machines health checkups & facilities usage parameters to ensure longevity and accuracy.
Coordinating with cross-functional team in terms of new project and other supporting activities.
Managing the technicians & assigning the day-to-day work activities.
Managing to take part equally in attending all maintenance related breakdowns & erection work of new machines with minimum work force.
To develop methodologies best practices to improve the efficiency of the machine as well as of the team
Implementation of 5’S system and kaizens activities in shop, making it as a culture for the operations.
Looking after the DG sets and Air compressors ups for any breakdown & plan alternative measure.
Conducting training programs to the team related to machine improvements, safety and newly machines arrived
Responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance of press machines like 800-ton version, komastu 300-ton, E2P 300ton, Fork lifters.
Maintaining fire alarms, firefighting systems implementation for safety audits.
Responsible for installing new machines if any arrived in company.
Responsible for other activities as ensured by the management.
Responsible for supervising the work in the team & look after the shift activity to increase the effectiveness & to minimize the machine breakdown hrs.
Knowledge on SAP, ERP, Tally to plan and implement maintenance related activities.
EHS related activities, Identify & implement, audit preparedness.
Calibration of equipment, testing of hoists, cranes.
Experience in implementation of Quality standards like TS16949 & ISO 9001:2008.
Conduct Daily Review Meet/ Manpower planning/ Shift Planning
Monitoring/ Maintenance of cost as per budget.
Formulation of preventive maintenance system for Feed Manufacturing Equipment’s and Utilities Boiler, Compressor etc.
Adherence of preventive maintenance system as per plan to keep machines in working condition as per production plan
Achieving Engineering KPI for Machine Breakdown Time, Maintenance Cost and Project completion as per budgeted cost and timelines
Execution of Base Project as per schedule and budgeted cost.
Formulation and execution of Cost Reduction/ Productivity Improvement Projects.
Maintenance of infrastructure as per regulatory requirement under Safety & Quality
Maintenance of regulatory permits for Fire Department and Electrical Board, KSPCB and Factory Inspectorate
Principal Accountabilities
Formulation of Preventive Maintenance System and Adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to avoid frequent Breakdowns.
Analysis of Break down periodically to do CAPA to improve on availability of equipment’s for better productivity and OEE are improved
Maintaining of Critical spares to avoid any delays due to non-availability of spares.
Equipment history card generated and maintained for each equipment’s.
Effective utilization and implementation of Maintenance software.
Implementation and follow up for Safety procedures such as obtaining permit for confinedspace entries, Crane permits, working on height etc.
Proper PJHA is carried out for non-routine Tasks; Train the contractors on PJHA, and othersafety requirements before starting the work.
Reports on contract manpower worked for the month for safety reporting, training hoursspend on contractors on safety.
To Ensure all Capex projects are carried out as per the timeline.
Cash Flow and Capex spend needs to be reported Monthly 30percentage.
R & M Budgeting for both ETP Plant and chemical plant and ensure costs are maintainedwithin the budget.
Various initiatives on Energy and Fuel savings and Cost saving/ Productivity ImprovementProjects are initiated to support continuous improvement Process.
Coordinating with accounts for payment of suppliers.
Capitalization of assets in coordination with Finance Team20percentage.
All contractors, Maintenance Assistants, and the Users to be trained on safe Handling ofEquipment’s and safety Requirements as per Cargill standards.
