Automation Framework - In-house developed framework for test automation being developed and maintained by the Test Automation team. The fundamental requirement for the automated test harness application is pre-production system integration testing and verification. The capability of performing a large number of tests cases routinely and consistently provides a measure of confidence that the intended code release has a degree of stability within the production environment.

Business Flow - Batman is the Trading platform for house traders to manage the trades . It not only manages the house trades but also client trades . It acts as a end system or order to reach exchanges. There are different algorithms being used to give better pricing and manage the liquidity .

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.
• Managed Team of 2 members , with SME for application managing 3 to 5 releases every Sprint.

Summary

Derivative Exchange shortly abbreviated as DEx is Morgan Stanley OTC product platform which give user flexibility to place orders in all different kinds of structure noted products which have various underlying assets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Biggest challenge for DEx was its support for 80 different products and doing it manually with different types of order combination makes it very difficult
• DEx has come over all challenges and have reduced manual efforts by 35 % covering all Order entry scenarios
• Validating order behavior based on different set of data w.r.t client and product
• Extensively automated regression and new functional tests using selenium webdriver
• Designed and used Hybrid framework
• Excel based reporting and HTML reporting of test execution progress
• Preparation of test scripts and test cases on various business scenarios
• Documentation Review, defect opening and analysis
• Following up any outstanding open test risk or queries
• Testing XML response using Rest Assured Framework for faster outputs

Summary

Equity Cash trading platform for HNI clients mainly for APAC region. Bulk deal or orders were sent to exchange via different algos . Further Daily reporting and consolidation of order transaction. Client reporting for traded orders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of STP Cash application from business point of view and understanding feasibility of test cases
• Designing test cases to place different kind of orders in different exchanges
• Responsible for adding test cases to test automation frameworks (Web, App)
• Define and implemented test automation strategy.
• Analyze automation results and fix script issues whenever it was required

HNI Client On Boarding is Morgan Stanley Downstream applications where Clients are been Onboarded. This Accounts are further sent to upstream Trading Applications. New Account Opening had multiple sets of details and further at every stages there is approval process that needs to be approved.
