Hi, I’m Hari Teja — a passionate and hands-on Principal Quality Assurance Engineer with over 11 years of experience helping teams deliver high-quality software products with confidence.
My QA journey has taken me deep into the world of test automation, performance testing, cloud integration, security validation, configuration testing, and Agile leadership. Over the years, I’ve built automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Puppeteer, and tested everything from user interfaces to backend APIs with tools like Postman and REST Assured.
Performance matters to me — not just for systems, but for processes too. I’ve led load testing initiatives using JMeter, visualized performance metrics with Grafana, and orchestrated large-scale test runs using Taurus by BlazeMeter. One of my most impactful contributions was stress testing an auto-numbering system to validate data integrity under load — something only QA can truly appreciate! 😄
Security and authentication are also close to my heart. As a Subject Matter Expert in SSO, I’ve worked with identity providers like Okta, Ping Identity, Salesforce, and Windows ADFS to test and configure secure login flows. I also run Veracode static security scans using automation scripts to proactively identify vulnerabilities and strengthen product security early in the development cycle.
My work has also involved configuration testing, particularly OAuth-based integrations. I’ve tested and validated Gmail and Exchange account connectivity on our platform for email sending, inbox reading, and calendar synchronization — ensuring seamless, secure communication for enterprise users.
I developed an in-house analytics application hosted on the InfiniteBlue platform (formerly Rollbase) to track automation run history and visualize test confidence. This dashboard offered stakeholders a bird’s-eye view of test stability (stable, flaky, failing), historical trends, and actionable insights to improve release quality and automation trustworthiness.
Cloud-wise, I’m comfortable with AWS and Azure, having worked with EC2, S3, RDS, and Route53 for provisioning, monitoring, and managing scalable QA environments.
Recently, I’ve begun expanding my expertise into the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) domain — gaining exposure to risk mitigation strategies, failover validation, and continuity planning as part of mission-critical product testing.
Beyond the tools and tech, I enjoy mentoring QA teams, defining test strategies, setting quality metrics, and being the voice of quality in scrum teams. I’ve also served as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, resolving blockers, and driving continuous improvement.
When I’m not testing something (or breaking it, then testing it 😄), I enjoy simplifying complex QA challenges and making testing more approachable for everyone.
