I am a seasoned Manager for MSSQL Database Administrator for IBM\ Kindryl Solutions Pvt ltd. Heading team of 17 Engineers. As Manager i have been assigned the role of managing the team and helping them with technical or process suggestions as and when required. We are managing appropriately 1300+ SQL instances. Ensuring guiding the teams and enabling them to work independently in order to reduce issues. Primary responsibility is to ensure the process is followed and also ensuring the reduction of and maintaining IPC process. I used to work as a System Analyst at client location Philips, Philips has huge client base of 500+ hospitals in US alone. I was given a role of upgrade existing database version to latest version of SQL. Migration of data was done by creating SSIS Packages. Performance tuning, Fixing the issue, Base Lining, DB Backups and day-to-day DBA Activity.

• Following the HIPPA rules and GDPR guidelines while performing migration.
• 2008R2 using SSIS packages. Migrated Terabytes of studies to the latest versions.
• Testing the migrated data with multiple Dry run’s and get the customer confirmation.

• Customization of Queries to satisfy and meet the needs of data migration, seamlessly. Fine tuning of studies so that images are loaded within agreed timelines.

• Detaching the storage drive from old VM and attaching it to new one which has all the studies of patients to have not missed any single images.

Company Overview: Future Focus InfoTech is the Consulting Company tie up with all the leading companies in the industries. They are Partner with IBM’s Network Solution. My role was a Database Administrator and had been deployed at Aditya Birala Fashion and retail client of IBM. There were approximately more than 56 SQL Server 2000/05/08, Database Servers in their environment. Was the only resource for MSSQL to take care of all the database . Aditya Bairla fashion is known retailer where they had approx 2000+ outlets across India and all that data was stored in MSSQL.

Key projects:

• As there 2000+ stores each store has one DB, where in one instance we had 2000+ DB's.
• Writing complex queries to get data from all the DB's and processing it in one DB.
• Customization of report based on the request.
• Setting up Transactional Replication and Log Shipping.
• Re-Building the index and update statistics all the database servers.
• Checking the disk space in all the servers. Shrinking the database or transaction log file to release the space in the database.
• Migration of the databases from version 2000 to 2005 with more than 600 databases in the instance with terabit's of space.
• Establishing the connection between SQL Server and ORACLE to link the SAP databases and other application databases for automation of the data exchange.
• Creating the Linked Servers. Auditing configuration for critical servers.
• User management, creating users, roles, permissions, based on work to be done on the database.
• Recovering the Database when the log(ldf) file is deleted, while database was still up and running. Installation and creation of MYSQL database. Migrating MYSQL database to SQL Server 2008R2 database using SSMA.

Oracle Activities:

• Oracle database installation.
• Verifying archive log synchronization status of production and DR database.
• Checking for Table space Growth on daily basis for more than 13 Databases.
• Validating the backup of the database through RMAN on daily basis. Restoring database, archive logs through RMAN. Creating database users, views based on the request.

Company Overview: WIN Strata software Solution is Product based company and deals with the products like eFleet and Open ERP applications. I used to handle databases on production, UAT and development level. I was also involved in deploying files and scripts to the server. The product had some performance issues, for which the performance tuning of queries and views were handled.

Key projects:

• Creating different database for each client using the product. Executing the profiler for analyzing the performance issue in the product. Long running procedures were amended to ensure lesser execution time.
• Writing complex logic to satisfy the user requirements with the most efficient method. Setting a backup plan in multiple servers.
• Regular DB maintenance activity of Backup, Indexing , Updating stats, Checking database consistency.

• My role here was to manage MS SQL Server and Oracle database administration assignments for the internal team (Enterprise Automation Team). Enhance database performance, backup and restores, disaster backup, handle performance tuning and conduct regular system backups. Ensure technical and functional designs would meet business requirements, reports generation.

Key projects:

• Handling database for over 15+ applications and ensuring its availability.
• Database refresh activity from prod to UAT and development server for application team testing.
• Creating integration between ORACLE to SQL Server 2008 for the Active Directory and for generation of reports. Generation of the reports in SSRS, Oracle SQL Developer and creating dashboard in Dot Net.
• Creating and maintaining the USERS Roles for all the members in the team.
• Creating and maintaining JOB’s in MS SQL Server.
• Handling Team Foundation Server (TFS) to deploy code to production post build and tested in local environment.
• Achievements: Was awarded the 5th place for a quiz conducted by Microsoft Corporation Ltd at SLK Software Pvt Ltd.

Company Overview: Relyon Softech Ltd deals with the Taxation software of India like Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) Income Tax(IT), Accounting and Payroll Software.

Selected for implementation on the products developed by Relyon. Providing a complete knowledge of software to the client. Educating them to use the software for a period of one month. Supporting the clients onsite as well as on call, across the state.

Key projects:

• Implementation of the software at the client location and also provide telephonic support.
• Support related to the Taxation products for the clients and dealers in the state.
• Was involved in designing and customization of the reports as per client requirement in the Taxation and Payroll Software.
• Maintaining customer details and updating the clients as and when the changes were made to the software or on the release of the latest version.
• Training the dealers and clients of the latest version of release of Software.
• Conducting sessions with 30 or so clients and educate them about the product and the latest available changes made by tax department and the way it is implemented in the software.
