EMAT team is responsible for monitoring server hardware, OS health and Application health in Thomson Reuters data centers around the world.

• Providing technical support to the client data centre with the help of various tools.
• Deployment and managing application in Linux/Windows servers.
• Managing and maintaining Linux and windows servers, network devices and its alerts troubleshooting.
• Attending client meeting for gathering information on new requirements.
• Migration of application from server to different server in Unix environment during server upgrade/maintenance/issues.
• Troubleshooting and correcting problems based upon ticket metrics.
• Experience on Tools such as SiteScope, DataDog, Nagios, HPSIM.
• Focusing on customer satisfaction and service quality by quick resolution and minimizing the outage.
• Experience on Nagios troubleshooting, version upgrade, configuration changes and migration.
• Analysis of logs and fixing issues accordingly within SLA.
• Joining TRT calls, coordinating issues, Managing P1, P2 tickets without breaching SLA.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of the root cause analysis of P1 incidents by problem tickets.
• Ticketing tools using are Service-Now, Jira.
• Ensuring all the process like Release activities, new issues and workarounds, configuration changes, new application interface changes etc.
• Is well documented and ensure all team members are aware of the process.
• Monitoring the file systems and disk space on the servers and performing housekeeping to maintain the thresholds.
• Automated application installation using Ansible tool in RHEL servers.
• Configured playbooks and roles to track log anomalies, automate script execution checks, and validate FTP connectivity.
