Distinguished scholar, academic leader, and editor with over two decades of expertise in International Economic Development. Currently a Professor of Economics and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (Master’s Programme) at the Jindal School of International Affairs, O.P. Jindal Global University, India. Recipient of the UAE’s 10-year Golden Residence Visa (Geniuses of Talent). Founder of the Jindal Centre for the Global South, the Global South Research Foundation (GSRF), and the Africa Dialogue Forum (ADF), advancing research, policy, and cross-sector collaboration on development and cooperation within the Global South. Academic credentials include a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from Ain Shams University (Egypt), Poitiers University, and Sorbonne University (France). Active member of OWSD and the African Studies Centre at Leiden, contributing to global research, editorial boards, and international forums to champion equitable development in the Global South.
