Business analysis

· Develop the key artifacts required under Agile Framework (including high-level business requirements/EPICs & meaningful JIRA's, solution design, functional and non-functional requirements), to a clear and unambiguous standard, as a solid foundation (Complete Definition of Ready) for implementation by Software Delivery (SWD).

· Promote visibility, understanding and approval of the requirements with all regional stakeholders at all stages of initiation and definition; obtain sign-offs

· Liaise with Software Delivery in the specification, production and subsequent software development

• Project management - Support the Project Manager to:

· Run working groups with key stakeholders;

· Track progress against the project plan

· Develop the test strategy

· Provide regular status updates

· Escalate risks, issues and dependencies impacting the project to the Project Manager

• Testing

· Assist to develop the test strategy in conjunction with IT and business stakeholders

· Liaise with users to confirm test requirements and ensure suitable UAT test plans are constructed.

· Perform sanity checks that the requirements are satisfied

• Stakeholder engagement

· Constructive engagement with key stakeholders i.e. risk management, risk control, Traded Risk transformation component PMs/ BAs, Software delivery teams, FO Project team, design architects

• Document business processes and analyzed procedures to align with changing business needs.
• Create workflow diagrams and Business process charts to clearly demonstrate processes and timelines.
• Mapped process activities to identify shortfalls and propose options to rectify operational inefficiencies.
• Evaluated consistency and importance of different business intelligence data against needs to determine optimal courses of action.
• Conduct interviews with key business users to collect information on business processes and user requirements.
• Review files, records and other documents to obtain business information and key data informing responses to development requests.
• Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and understand enterprise-wide operational impacts and opportunities of technology changes.
• Meet with stakeholders to establish favorable business relationships and support mutually beneficial interests.

• Pre and Post settlement for EMEA, DTC, Canada, Mexico market
• Investigate Nostro breaks where ledgers/statements are unmatched
• Source and request for SSI setup / amend of counterparty details
• Resolve the economic discrepancy on trades with counterparty using Bloomberg and other middle office systems
• Collaborate with Front & Middle Office to Research and Resolve Post-Settlement Breaks BAU activities like to work on Pre-matching, Fails, and Nostro/depot breaks
• Amendment for various economic details on trades by using MO tool (Cancellation and correction)
• Internal and external communication which includes mails/ calls with clients, brokers, Custodian, Corporate action & IT team
• Liaise with Custodian to settle SPO (MT599) and high-value trades and ensure trades go STP Follow daily SLA and deadlines to ensure accurate settlement in the marketplace
• Claims/ BUY-INs, Corporate action transaction

• Derivatives confirmation and validation – Middle Office,
• Trade validation, capturing, and Confirmation of derivatives products (Rates & credit).
• Pre-Confirmation of options, Swaps, Fixed income derivative products (IRS & CDS), with the counterparty.
• Liaise with internal counterparts (i.e.Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Confirmations, Legal, Finance) to work through issues and identify the correct remediation required Mitigating the Non-Conformity of Trades between Client & Counterparty.
• Categorize contracts and deals of Rates and Credit derivative trades for client Capturing data of ISDA.
• Resolve and escalate mismatch trade values to the client and prepare daily status reports on the same.
