Working as a OPM responsible for implementing the business system level initiatives and sustaining them.
Hetal works from the company center (called ITP, Innovation, Technology & Product) that connects 6 major business units (different in terms of business capacity, market segment and regions) spread across the globe, to organize, standardize PMO business systems and sustain the change. She works closely with all BU PMOs and their delegates to projectize, deploy and sustain these initiative changes. Hetal is also responsible to liaison with third party SPOC to ensure successful achievement of business & strategic goals through the contract.
Have successfully onboarded NPD and localization process and 1000+ project managers & team members to Microsoft Project Online, a highly Xylem customized project management portal. The onboarding and successful adoption involved project manage, train, handhold, coach on process and a change agent. She acts in the capacity of POL Super user to execute ECR, to maintain database quality above 95% and to coach employees on project management best practices when required.

Hetal is leading Agile Transformation in hardware product development process in these 6 BU where our team have co-innovated reference model for Agile for Hardware and agile business model for Product & Portfolio tier as 1st incremental step towards Agile transformation. Her team have successfully deployed Agile project metrics and working towards making it positive.

• Conduct Voice of Xylem with product stakeholders
• Identify scope and target of the Value Optimized Design project
• Proficient in executing VAVE processes - project scope identification, project planning, Design Analysis (BOM, Black Box, Standardization, SKU rationalization, Assembly line study & optimization), VOD business cases building and a practiced ideation workshop facilitator
• Competitor's product comparison and benchmarking through Black Box analysis and Teardown and Benchmarking – White box analysis
• Facilitate Ideation workshop to share this analysis and show where our product stands in the market and collect ideas Prioritize ideas with team suggestion and build business case for proposal
• Voice of Customer: She is trained and practiced at scoping, planning, collecting, and analyzing the Voice of Customer resulting into business benefit
• Expertise in Various VE process: Project Scope Identification, VOD Analysis tools & techniques, Business Case Bundling, Assembly line Study & Optimization, Technology Upgradaetion in product and product related processes
• Achievements:
• Identified and proposed a 5Y annual saving of USD $ 2M for a product making annual revenue of USD $4.5M
• This product is redesigned and relaunched in the market in 2022
• Identified & proposed a 5Y annual saving of USD $ 1.83M with 40% margin and a ready to implement business case of an automated assembly line and labor saving of $0.75M for a product making revenue of $ 6.7M & 29% Margin.

• Initiated SAE BAJA student-teacher club, lead national level inter-collage competition (SAE BAJA), bagging sponsorships and supporting competition R&D efforts.
