Risk management services (RMS) group within Ernst & young helps the firm and its client serving professionals in making decisions with respect
to client & engagement acceptance, in sync with internal compliance policies and regulatory framework. The group continuously evaluates the risk associated with each client and engagement and suggests ways to mitigate them.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a specialist self reviewer within the Global Delivery Services in collaboration with the Global Independence for assisting engagement teams/partners and delegates with approval in clearing open actions in their pending queues alongside educating and gradually helping in reducing the dependencies.
• Setting up discussion calls with requestors/partners and Global Independence leaders to resolve pending requests which involves high risk category requests for which delay can result in independence violations.
• Performing detailed background research through use of internal (EY developed) as well as external databases to ensure that all the dealings
  with engagement team member practices and audit clients are fair and independent.
• Performs initial review of submissions from client teams and evaluates completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of proposed requests.
• Provide feedback required to continuously improve processes and suggesting potential methods of resolutions to engagement teams.
• Achieves objective by following the Firm's determined process methodology.
