Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and administrating WebSphere Application Server Linux servers.
• Deploying of EAR & WAR files on WebSphere Application Server in development, Pre-prod, Production environment.
• Installed fix packs to overcome Application server problems.
• Installed fix packs to overcome application server problems.
• Troubleshooting various problems in different stages of development using logs files.
• Involved in configuration of WebSphere Application Server resources like JDBC Providers, JDBC Data Sources and Connection Pooling to connect to Oracle.
• Troubleshooting IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x Network Deployment Manager on Linux and Windows environments.
• Configuring WebSphere Application Server on multiple platforms for both horizontal and vertical clustering for workload management.
• Generating thread dumps and heap dumps.
• Involved in resolving tickets, such as incident, change, and problem types of tickets through SERVICENOW.
• Analyzing activity log files and diagnosing application server problems.Installed, configured, and maintained the IHS Web server.
• Configure, re- build the Web/App servers through automation
• Assist in the management and development of all elements of the BCM cycle.
• Promptly responded, troubleshot, and resolved production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
• Hands- on Experience in commands and proficient in Linux.
• Having knowledge of editors like touch, cat, and vi, and also providing access to the particular files using chmod.
• Supported 24/7 on-call support for all environments.
