Face Recognition Attendance System ( July 2024 - December 2024 )

• Technologies Used: Python, OpenCV, Haarcascade, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Jupyter Notebook .
• Developed an automated attendance system leveraging face recognition technology to record attendance in real-time. Face Recognition: Utilized haarcascade (a deep learning-based face recognition model) for accurate identi cation of individuals from camera feeds.
• Preprocessing: Applied OpenCV for image preprocessing, including face detection, alignment, and resizing, ensuring consistent recognition accuracy.
• Attendance Management: Integrated NumPy and Pandas to manage attendance records, e ciently handling data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Database: Redis.

Student Management System

• Developed a Student Management System using Django and Django REST Framework to manage student records, allowing for adding, updating, and displaying student information via web templates and APIs.
• Implemented CRUD operations for student, course, attendance, and marks models, with RESTful API endpoints for adding, updating, and viewing data in JSON format.
• Created a Django admin interface for managing student records, courses, attendance, and marks, with role-based access for primary and secondary admins.
• Designed and integrated API endpoints for student enrollment, attendance marking, and course management, ensuring smooth backend and frontend interaction.
