Am sailing as a marine engineer for 17 yrs and currently as a chief engineer on board ships. As a chief engineer, I am fiscally responsible for the operations and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, auxiliary boilers and exhaust gas economizer, and all other machineries including cargo and gantry cranes. I am also responsible for day to day work schedule, safety of all machinery as
well as the crew. Chief Engineer with skillsets and proven track record of team leadership, project management and customer relations. Excellent communication skills focusing on training, motivating and cultivating skills of engineering department.

• Operational Oversight: Took upon a new yard delivery for a bulk carrier in japan and set up main and auxiliary systems and trained junior officers for the setup .

• Budgeting : optimized budget in accordance to the shipboard spare parts and inventory control.

• Performance Monitoring: Kept a track on engine performance metrics such as fuel consumption, emissions, and efficiency to help in vessel owner's fuel savings.

• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Applying advanced diagnostic techniques and conducting thorough root cause analyses to promptly rectify technical faults, while also leading emergency responses to ensure vessel safety and operational continuity.

• Training and Development: Training senior and junior engineers on ME engines and on scrubbers and ballast water treatment systems.

• I am fascinated by all types of sports and frequently spend my free
  time teaching my kids various sports activities.
• I also enjoy travelling a lot i also try to make time for for going on a vacation with my family at least once a year.
