• Drive the Engineering Hardware function performance to ensure that all engineering activities meet the required safety, integrity, financial and contractual requirements.
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities across the function.
• Main Accountabilities
• Business Target: Implement the business plan for the group in conjunction with BU strategy. Responsible for the productivity of the team and contribute to the business targets.
• Business Development: Support BEM’s in business development activities by providing necessary inputs for securing projects for the team.
• Budgeting: Provide inputs to the management for overall manpower plan and budgeting for the team.
• Design and Engineering: Support project team for developing design documentation as required by the customer in line with quality processes and standards.
• Based on project specification, analyse project requirements raise queries on insufficient data / documents received.
• Create the engineering drawings and deliverables to be used in the project as per the set standards and guidelines and submit the same for review.
• Identify and notify the software tools versions used for the system design to the Sr. Engineer or Operations Manager to ensure the compatibility of the products to be delivered.
• Document and share the lessons learnt during the execution of the project with team.
• Follow the standard existing libraries (drawings) and document the additional information learnt during execution of the project.
