  • Responsible for designing a proper concept, such as how the machine works, and specifying my scope in machine design, including how many cradles to provide and the L-type position, two-axis positioner, and how the robot works, as well as its reach available for feasible welding.
  • Design a machine with detailing and the proper, feasible components. Design mating resource parts.
  • Ensure that while designing components, you adhere to standard aspects that are feasible for manufacturing.
  • Selection of suitable material for a suitable application while mating parts with stress absorption capability, such as MS IS 2062, EN8, cast iron (CI), E25, E35, and 20MnCr5, SS304, SS310, and SS314.
  • Ensure the selection of proper brought-out items, such as gear motors, Heli-worm gearboxes, rack and pinion gearboxes, worm gearboxes, pneumatic actuator cylinders, and screw jacks, with calculation aspects.
  • Ensure selection of electrical. Components like solenoid switches, pilot-operated DCV, FCV, etc.
  • Ensure that while selecting bearings, flats, shafts, and channels with proper sizes according to catalog standards, you also ensure calculations such as stresses induced, load, and deflection while the load is actuated, as well as for cantilever beams and simple structures.
  • Prepare the drafting with a standard view generated using first-angle projection and third-angle projection.
  • Give the proper annotation in the drawing with the suitable dimensional tolerance and suitable application.
  • Assign a proper GD&T tolerance with respective fitments and aspected allowances. With the assigned proper modifications, like MMC, LMC.
  • Assign proper machining allowances, such as machining, roughness, grinding, and superfinish. Selected tolerances of the matting part with the shaft basis and hole basis system.
  • assign proper fabrication notes with process symbol like a perferal welding , stitch weld full weld etc.
