  • Spearheaded a team of 20+ team members and 3 team leaders to handle receiving, production and shipping responsibilities.
  • Created standard operating procedures in Microsoft Excel for all processes in facility and trained team to them.
  • Trained with Toyota Engineers on how to mechanically/digitally control facility equipment, with the machinery being state of the art and unique to the production style of the plant.

  • Managed a team of 60+ team members and 4 lead operators. We supplied various components to manufacturing points in the facility and beyond. The team consisted of 9 different work cells, each with their own parts and challenges. These cells produced 16,000 parts weekly.
  • Increased department productivity dramatically by using the "plan, do, check, act" cycle. Productivity trended towards target my entire tenure, from 0.48 to 0.43 on a measured scale.
  • Created effective countermeasures for defects, brought average defects sent from my department interally/externally weekly from 80+ to 10
  • Led the team through major part and floor layout changes brought by new Subaru Legacy/Forrester models.
