Professional Synopsis Over 30 years of experience with airline industry, both at the airport and in ground services department at various levels in the Gulf (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat) and Indian Stations (Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, Ahmedabad). Thorough knowledge in all kinds of airport operations and fully conversant with HUB operations due to the mixture of experience with Airlines and Handling agents.

Accomplishments

 Hyderabad station has been awarded as the best station four years consecutively in all the laid down parameters amongst all the network station which comprises of more than 90 stations.
 Leading the core team for International Operation of Kingfisher Airlines by identifying the right staff among the team and required coaching and training was imparted in an effective and timely manner. London was the first international destination which was very smooth and acknowledged by the senior management.
 Effective in formalizing the SOPs for Terminal Management, identifying the quick wins during the observation and takeover of SVPI Airport, Adani Ahmedabad International Airport, the maiden project for Adani Airports and bringing in immediate changes in the processes to enhance customer experience and ASQ ratings.
 Having appointed as the Airport Manager with Kingfisher in Goa, the GHA agreement was relooked into and a saving of INR 9.7 million per annum was identified and acknowledged by the senior management.
 Having appointed as the Airport Manager with Go Air in Delhi, where I had a workforce of almost 180 white collared and 200 blue collared staff, was instrumental in streamlining the process and procedures which was accredited by the Senior Management.
 Having appointed as Airport Manager with Etihad Airways in Hyderabad, I was influential in the migration process of DCS from BA-RTB to Sabre single handedly which was successful. Trained the staff as well as the GHA for smooth transition.
 With Kingfisher Airlines in Goa, during major strike by the union, have handled the situation with minimal disruption through proper planning and coordination and without any external support. This was acknowledged by the management.
 Having associated with Oman Air for couple of months, I have been influential in taking care of the transition, ORAT and was successful in the airport transition in a smooth manner by coordinating with various agencies and stake holders.
 Have been truly instrumental during the Aviation Air Show held in Hyderabad in the year 2016. All the necessary arrangements and coordination were done in a meticulous manner which was appreciated by the Executive Management since we had a delegation of 45 coming from the HDQ, Abu Dhabi

• Managing the performance of all operational requirement, owning, and managing relationships with relevant internal and external agencies, stake holders, vendors, service providers and partners.
• Responsible for entire Terminal Management, Guest Relations, CFL and Landside Management.
• Managing the AAI team along with third party employees to ensure smooth and seamless operations by proper collaboration and coordination.
• Ensure the SOPs are vetted according to the need and requirement of the operator and as mandated by the regulatory bodies.
• Managing contracts and reviewing the SLAs with the service partners. Ensuring all the SLAs are carried out in the prescribed manner by conducting timely audits and recommending best practices to be implemented within the stipulated timelines.
• Ensuring all the infrastructures are available for our stakeholders, partners and concessionaires and resolving and mitigating the challenges of internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively involving in the resource allocations for the airline fraternity to ensure the resources are utilized optimally.
• Ensuring to maintain very cordial relations with all the governmental agencies and resolving their challenges in best possible manner.
• Ensuring all the VIPs and Bureaucrats movements are taken care of by extending and facilitating their travel.
• Identifying training need and requirement, and Liasoning with HR for nomination of the trainings and all mandatory trainings are imparted as regulated.
• Being the custodian of the airport, ensuring all the premises are well taken care of and auditing the areas and spaces given to the stakeholders and partners are in accordance with the laid down norms.
• Ensure all Airport activities are delivered safely and securely in compliance with DGCA CAR and ICAO norms and as per regulatory standards.
• Responsible for the delivery and maintenance of Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual station budget exercising cost control measures, ensuring the opportunities to optimize airport revenues and reduce costs are identified and delivered.
• Ensure the Performance Management of all team members in the station are carried out in accordance with organization values.
• Responsible for the development of delay, disruption, and diversion plans.
• Ensuring the ERP and the BCP are in place. Reviews to be done from time to time to measure and understand the implications and to take corrective action plan at regular intervals and all are updated in a timely manner.
