Raw Material Procurement

· Plan, develop & setup inbound supply chain process.

· Develop & implement domestic & global sourcing strategy for various Raw materials used for Truck Bus radial Tyre manufacturing.

· Lead buyer for Natural Rubber, Synthetic Rubber, Carbon Black & Steel Chords for Tyre manufacturing. Perform Market research, Commodity price tracking, long term contracting, alternate material & Vendor development.

Capex Procurement

· Handling end to end requirement for Green Field project buying for Instrumentation, Mechanical, Scada, MES, BMS system, HVAC system.

· Drafting rate contracts, Bid management, price negotiations, co-ordinating with finance for payment processing.

· Preparing quarterly budget & Cash flow for project procurement.

IT Procurement

· Procurement of all IT assets such as Laptops, Firewall system, CCTV Camera, Routers, plant servers, security systems, etc.

· Perform Functional & Commercial responsibility for Contracting with various SaaS providers for SAP implementation, HRIS system, M/L AI integration & various digitization requirements.

SAP Implementation

• Single functional SPOC for P2P process implementation
• Business blueprint, Org Structure, Integration with other SaaS platform.

• Handled Overall Capex project for Paint shop & Injection molding shop buying for Green Field project (Suzuki Motor Gujarat) approx 700cr.
• Regular Capex & Opex procurement for Plant & operations.
• Requirement gathering, gap analysis, prepare business justification documentation, stakeholder approval documentation.
• Analysis of business based on Cost, Time, Benefits, Risk, Scope, Quality.
• Vendor capability development activity to increase local sourcing in projects.
• Resource allocation, scheduling, task delegation, cross functional collaboration.
• Co-ordination with Supply chain, Logistics, Finance & IT department to accomplish various project processes, such as cost negotiation, VA/VE, vendor improvement, Logistics planning.
• Dynamic color grouping of vehicles in pre-storage buffer before painting to reduce paint consumption.
• Successfully Led a team of 2 designers, 3 supervisors and over 250 workforces, undertaken over 48 development projects, increased capacity of 3 paint shops by 3000 painted vehicles annually, increasing sales by 2%.
• Increased efficiency of manual processes through DMAIC process by over 6 percent resulting in de-bottlenecking of slowest production process.
• Continuous development of vendors achieving reduction of imported items from Japan by 60% thereby reducing project cost by INR 60 MRs annually.
• New Plant Installation Suzuki Motor Gujarat (Green field Project).
• Regular Capital & Revenue projects for maintenance & renewal.
