- Explain procedures to patients, obtaining informed consent, and addressing concerns.
- ⁠- Prepare and position patients for CT/MRI & X-Rays ensuring comfort and alignment.
- ⁠ Operate X-Ray ,CT and MRI scanning equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- ⁠- Perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues, and initiate repair requests as needed. -
- ⁠Ensure safe and efficient operation of CT and MRI machinery.-
- ⁠Capture high-quality X-Ray , CT and MRI images, adjusting parameters based on exam requirements. -
- ⁠Monitor patient movement and provide instructions to minimise artifacts.-
- ⁠Utilize advanced techniques, including contrast agents or special sequences, as required.- Implement strict radiation safety and MRI safety protocols, using appropriate shielding.-
- ⁠Monitor radiation exposure to patients and staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.-
- ⁠Screen patients for potential hazards and educate them about safety measures.-
- ⁠Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information, procedures, and contrast administration. -
- ⁠Retrieve and process CT and MRI data for radiologist interpretation.-
- ⁠Document all studies performed, following healthcare regulations.-
- ⁠Continuously monitor patient condition during CT and MRI scans for safety and comfort.-
- ⁠Respond promptly to adverse reactions or emergencies, following established protocols.-
- ⁠Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis.-
- ⁠Assist in complex CT and MRI examinations, including interventional procedures.-
- ⁠Mentor and guide less experienced staff, students, and trainees.-
- ⁠Stay updated with advancements in CT and MRI technology and safety practices.-
- ⁠Participate in ongoing training, in-services, and continuing education programs.-
- ⁠Adhere to hospital policies, MRI safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.-
- ⁠Maintain cleanliness and organization of CT/MRI equipment and examination rooms.-
- ⁠Ensure proper storage and availability of supplies and accessories.-
- ⁠Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.-
- ⁠Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient care.-
- ⁠Provide mentorship and training to support staff development.-
- ⁠Foster a culture of excellence in CT and MRI services and patient care.-
- ⁠Be prepared to assist in various tasks to support efficient department operations.-
- ⁠Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

• 1. MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING- Handling Consents and Maintaining Safety Precautions before and after the Procedures.- Perform Non Contrast and Contrast Enhanced Studies such as Brain, Neck, Spinal Column,Musculoskeletal, Abdomen and Pelvis, CSF Flow Study , Vessel Wall imaging , Defecography ,Spectroscopy, Perfusion, Pituitary, MRCP, 1Endometriosis-Pelvis, Dynamic Angiogram and Venogram.- Perform Post Processing Techniques for Interpretation and Filming.- Perform Quality Assurance and Helium Monitoring.
  2. COMPUTERISED TOMOGRAPHY :- Perform Non contrast and Contrast Enhanced Studies.- Perform Special Studies Such as Cerebral Angiogram, Peripherals Angiogram , Pulmonary Angiogram, Aortogram , Coronary
  Angiogram Including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation protocols ( TAVI ).- Perform Cerebral Venogram and Peripheral Venogram.- Perform Wide range of Post Processing Techniques Such as Volume Rendering , Maximum & Minimum Intensity Projections, Curved
  Planar and Histogram.- Perform Tube Calibration and Image Acquisition Test Regularly.- Post procedure Care to the Patients After Contrast Administration.- Handling Consent and Safety Measures.
  3. GENERAL RADIOGRAPHY :- Perform Routine and Special Radiographs.- Perform Mobile Radiograph- Perform Special Procedures such as RGU , ICU , MCU and Barium Studies.- Maintains Consents and Safety precautions ALARA Techniques {Time, Distance and Shielding}
  4. OTHER SKILLS:- Basic and Cardiac Life support- IV Cannulation, Bio medical waste management and Infection Prevention Control.- Emergency Codes and Responsibilities- Strong Communication
