Dr. Inamul Hasan Madar is a Professor of Cancer Proteogenomics at the Center for Integrative Omics Data Science (CIODS), Yenepoya University. Prior to this role, he served as Associate Professor and Laboratory Head of the Multiomics and Precision Medicine Laboratory, Center for Global Health Research (CGHR), Saveetha Medical College and Hospital. He has also held leadership positions as Director of Sana Hospital and Healthcare and Director of Canary Oncoceutics India. Dr. Madar earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, specializing in Oncology Proteogenomics, from the Cancer Proteogenome Research (CPGR) Center, South Korea.
He has extensive experience in teaching and mentoring students at the M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., and MBBS levels, with expertise spanning biochemistry, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. Known for his adaptive teaching style that fosters critical thinking, he has successfully guided students in research, publications, and scientific presentations. He is also recognized for his ability to develop comprehensive academic course materials and to translate complex scientific discoveries into impactful contributions to peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Madar’s contributions as a mentor have been widely acknowledged. He was honored with the Best Research Mentor Award among 2,500 faculty members in a leading medical university for his exceptional guidance to MBBS, MD, and MS students. More recently, he received the prestigious recognition of Outstanding Scientist Award, further underscoring his impact in the field of cancer proteogenomics and medical research.
