• Cumulus and Common Core are the cloud data platforms to enable the next generation of intelligent health care devices, predominantly the 7XX series of MiniMed insulin pumps and Guardian 6XX and Synergy CGM sensors and their associated Simplera and Guardian mobile applications to store, retrieve, process telemetry data and build analytic dashboards and reports using the persisted data over AWS cloud for various diabetic patients and their health care professionals and care-partners.

Responsibilities:

• Developing expertise in the Medtronic diabetes healthcare business ecosystem, including existing software, firmware, hardware, and medical devices, to support the creation of a next-generation IoT platform on AWS Cloud using advanced tools, technologies, and services.
• Interpreting and conceptualizing complex business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Defining solution architecture and technical design aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
• Collaborating with team members to evaluate AWS services, open-source tools, and frameworks for their suitability, performance, and integration potential.
• Designing robust technical architectures following customer approval and project specifications.
• Scoping and estimating deliverables for planned release cycles.
• Participating in sprint planning sessions alongside managers, business analysts, and development teams to initiate new development tracks.
• Coordinating knowledge transfer and development hand-offs to Development, DevOps, and QA teams for sprint deliverables.
• Addressing key technical challenges throughout the agile development and testing lifecycle.
• Collaborating with the performance engineering team to validate product scalability, load capacity, and throughput requirements.
• Partnering with the DevOps team to define deployment and rollback strategies for production releases.

• Gained a deep understanding of the investment banking, insurance, automotive and energy and utilities business domain, including existing software systems, tools, applications, and server infrastructure to support the development of REST services and enterprise web applications for managing business-critical data.
• Collaborated on the conceptualization and analysis of business requirements.
• Defined robust solution and technical architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitated technical discussions and brainstorming sessions to evaluate various servers, open-source tools, and frameworks for their capabilities, usability, and effectiveness.
