Ishita Bajaj

As an academically bright student almost throughout whole of my school life at Delhi Public School, Ranipur, I have always wanted to disseminate my knowledge in a way that it is useful for others. Been brought up in an environment where my mother was a teacher, I have always been inclined towards this profession. I absolutely do not treat as a Plan B, it is my whole and sole determined decision. I want to bring about changes in learning styles through my pedagogical practices and methodology. I am creative and innovative when it comes to Lesson Planning and have excellent classroom management skills.

I have worked as the Editor in Chief(English) of DPS Ranipur's Webzine.

In order to foster my interest in Proofreading and editing, I also applied for the post of Editor for Palimpsest- The Annual Magazine of Department of English, Kirori Mal College. I worked with them as an editor for three years. As a result, I am quite adept at speaking, reading and writing English.

Apart from academics, I have always had an ardent love towards cinema. It is not limited to commercial movies but extends to Avant Garde and Parallel Cinema. I exhibited my skills of observation, critical and abstract thinking, articulation, public speaking and my knowledge about films at Montage- The Film Society of Kirori Mal College, leading me to earn the Star Performer certificate for two consecutive years. I also worked as the Core Member for the same for the last year of my graduation.

As a member of Montage and GrubStreet- The English Literary Society of KMC, I actively not participated in events, but also engaged in organizing and managing regular activities as well as Annual Fests. I have also contributed to their social media pages as their Content Writer quite a few times.

I also possess keen interest in Music and Dance, Art and Craft, Yoga, Public Speaking, as well as Dramatics. I have participated in various music choirs, dances, board decoration activities, extempore, skit competitions during my time at Maharshi Valmiki College of Education.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education from MVCE,DU, and my CTET(Paper 2) result is awaited.
