  • I would clean the pool deck after closing shifts. This includes setting up the chairs, taking out the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming the pool, and checking the chemicals.

  • I was a one-on-one swim lessons instructor for my swim club. Each session, I would have four kids for about 35 minutes each.
  • I worked for Center Grove for two summers under Kaitlin Smith.
  • I would teach kids how to back float, kick on their stomachs and backs, put their faces in the water, swim different strokes, teach them how to properly breathe, etc. Every kid would be on different experience levels, so for each lesson, I would focus on different things based on how well they can swim.
  • I would also evaluate kids who were ready to be on the club team.
  • I would work with many age groups, such as 3-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
  • My main goal was to teach water safety to all my kids I worked with.
