Life saving Award

I was on routine patrol training a probationary when a person down run was dispatched to the local Fire and EMS units. My probationary and I were just down the road, so we went in route to assist. Upon our arrival, we were advised a male was working on top of the barn when he collapsed. At that time, I got onto the barn and began CPR until fire and EMS arrived. Until the male was safely taken off of the barn, I continued CPR. Once down, the male was transported to the hospital.
