• Continuous involving in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery.

• Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.

• Ensuring Suppliers are capable to meet all requirements for work transfer and process change management including FAI, Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.

• Coordinating and maintaining key relationships with Supplier’s Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as Engineering, Procurement and support organizations.

• Preparing component technical requirement including tooling’s requirements and co-ordinate with suppliers & cross function team for sign-off.

• Supporting in implementation and adherence to the Supplier Quality Manuals given by customers.

• Participating with New Product Introduction teams to ensure suppliers are involved in the development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturing.

• Following up, Reviewing and Visiting to suppliers for ensuring the timely component development & qualification and escalate any issue to supplier's higher management if it is not meeting agreed requirement.

• Supports training of internal staff along with other functions on Supplier Quality processes, tools, procedures and work instructions.

• Working in conjunction with Plant QE and Suppliers in 8D problem solving - leading cross-functional teams on major issues resolution at Supplier locations and drives supplier 8Ds to on-time closure.

• Maintaining the procedures and processes as per AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, ISO13485:2016, & ISO/TS22163:2017 and keep them updated as per the procedure or best practice at Inward Quality Control (IQC).

• Coordinating with the stakeholders for maintaining relevant evidences like procedures, WI formats to support QMS and implementation at IQC.

• Guiding IQC team for Verification of dispatch documents, Raw material Specifications, Test reports, CMM reports, Special process reports and other specific reports.

• Participating in external certification audits and customer audits.

• Periodically coordinating for internal system/process/product audits and ensure all non-compliance reports are satisfactorily closed.

• Responsible for planning and conducting MRM as per defined timelines.

• Ensuring all non-conformance reports (NCR) are closed satisfactorily within the specified time.

• Maintaining periodic calibration of gauges, instruments as per requirement.

• Close monitoring and controlling IQC ageing to achieve desired Turn Around Time (TAT).

• Review IQC Hold and Pending lot with SCM team Weekly.

• Preparing IQC performance reports daily, weekly & monthly and submitting to managements.

• Close monitoring of supplier rejections at IQC and shop floor, tracking of supplier issue occurrences, and follow up with suppliers and SCM for closure of actions in case of issues.

• Monitoring and work towards reducing block stock value and driving actions along with SCM team.

• Coordinating with Customers- Thales, Honeywell, Rafael, ELTA, ABB, GEHC and BOSCH.

•Monitoring Customer complaints and submitting RCCA on time.

• Coordinate with team and collect daily quality related updates from all 7 units and submitting to Management.

• Handling quality team of 21 members and working on continuous quality improvement to reduce Customer complaints and Wastage.

• Coordinating with Customers and visiting on site to witness effectiveness of complaint closure.

• Coordinate with our corporate team to complete supplier audit and supplier selection and approval process.

• Issuing SCAR to supplier for a reported Non-conformance.

• Carrying out source inspection and confers with suppliers about inspection results

• Ensure incoming raw material acceptance based on the Chemical and Mechanical test reports.

• Coordinate with receiving inspection team to make sure quality of received part from supplier.

• Participate in program review meeting with supplier and customer weekly, monthly and quarterly.

• Inspection of composite parts, layup tools and assemblies by using CMM, Laser Tracker, and Romer Arm.

• Responsible to maintain QMS documents as per the NADCAP and AS9100D requirements.

• Preparing standard operating procedure, Control plan for NPD components.

• As a KAIZEN core committee member review and approve reported KAIZENs for continual process improvements.

• Conducting the5S and Process audit in a different work stations weekly and ensure observations closed on time and effectively.

• Coordinated with Customers- HAL & NAL.

• Specialized in Laser Tracker dimensional and contour inspection of LCA layup molds, CFC composite and metallic parts.

• Inspection during fabrication layup in clean rooms, curing and post-curing processes.

• Certification of jigs and fixtures for aircraft component and assemblies

• Any other computable duties assigned by project leader time to time in a advanced composite division at NAL.

• Design of conveyors, packaging and pharmaceutical equipment’s based on client requirements.

• Quote the final estimation of material, fabrication and other allied cost to clients.

• Checking CTQ dimensions of finished conveyors, packaging and pharmaceutical equipment’s.

• Maintain each document according to client’s specifications and quality requirements.
