The financial reporting team plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of mutual fund financial reporting. The team's work helps to protect investors and ensure that they have the information they need to make informed investment decisions


Responsibilities


  • I am responsible for a team of 72, including four managers and four team leads who are directly reporting to me
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements for US mutual funds in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Ensure that the financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
  • Work with the fund's auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Manage the team's budget and resources.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest changes to US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Devise processes to boost long-term business success and increase profit levels.
  • Set, enforce, and optimize internal policies to maintain responsiveness to demands.
