• Leading an offshore team for the IFRS 17 implementation team for conventional UK life business – protection and annuities.
• Key deliveries included BEL, risk adjustment for the GMM approach on locked-in rate, and current market rate financial assumptions.
• Full SII–IFRS 17 liability bridge production and analysis using first principles.
• Cash flow projections, including BEL and RA, and Coverage Unit projections.
• Quarterly IFRS 17 results review and walkthrough with Modelling, Reporting, and Transition teams.

Senior checker in liability basis production for SII and IFRS 4 reporting.

• Validation of assumption changes each year.
• Impact assessment of basis, scenario, and sensitivity testing basis.
• Liaising with onshore partners to test basis defects and SIT basis.

• Managing a team of 15 to 20 FTEs.
• Planning a refresher session on the top 10 quality defects.
• Monthly and quarterly deck on key SLA measures for performance reviews.
• Liaising with L&D and HR to discuss quality controls and EWS status, respectively.
