Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and Development of Automotive Exterior Parts (Front ,Rear bumper,Cladding's,Roof Rail & Fender Protector )
• Reviewing the supplier master schedule and making the recovery time plan for long lead parts to meet all the parts within the scheduled time for vehicle builds. (X0 lot, X1 &lot, EL&EL2-lot,Pre- MDL&MDL, Final SOP build)
• Attending the trials for T0 & T1 for critical and big parts and correcting the process errors.
• Attending supplier joint checks and TACHAI audit along with PQA team.
• Attending X0-lot build and understanding issues in each part and taking temporary counter measure with immediate action.
• Co-coordinating and getting feedback from Testing team and AVES team and process team based on the X0-lot and X1&X2-lot build.
• Taking permanent counter measure for issues with optimistic design changes.
• Freezing design changes before X3-lot and doing ECN kick-off considering X3-lot1 time line.
• Giving approvals for all parts Graining, Painting and Plating based on PD spec requirements. (before X3 build
• Attending Pre-SOP build and confirming vehicle quality as per Ganshakai evaluation with all improvements. (Graining and decoration)
• Taking permanent counter measure for issues with optimistic design changes.

• Attending the supplier PSW audits for PSW approval & MA approvals with K0 for SOP build

• Design and Development of Automotive Exterior Trim Parts (Front/Rear Bumper,Roof Rail,Claddings &Cowl grill )
• Study the Product Spec and preparation of RFI, RFQ & DCS (Design Concept Sheet) Technical documents with all detail inputs. (Project volume, Time line & No of Variants)
• Responsible for product A-surface feasibility, master section, ergonomic checks, design checks, packaging study (Assembly sequence, Accessibility and Serviceability), DMU, Isostatism & process definition.
• Responsible to automotive regulation and validation standards, procedure for the automotive Exterior systems with respective to Stellantis standards.
• Key coordinator between Styling, Engineering, Ergonomics & Development team.
• Participate in Part Split strategy, Process definition, DFMEA, DVP, STPR & APQP etc., for respective parts.
• Benchmarking of competitor's product, data compilation and implementation strategy for new design programs.
• Responsible in Supplier Design Reviews to make sure smooth design process and meeting the project milestones and timelines with no flaws in design.
• COD (Chain of Dimension) Stack up analysis preparation & discussing with process team.
• Individual and Assembly level 2D drawings checking.
• Detail engineering of part design with tooling feasibility and approving the Parting line and weld lines for aesthetic parts. (Front /Rear Bumper, Roof rail, Cladding&Fender Protector).
• Analyzing the mold flow, gate position, ejection system and checking the supplier mold- flow reports.
• Discussing with CAE team and CFD team to define the CAE targets based on STELLANTIS program requirements.
• Validating the supplier CAE reports and discussing with CFT team to make one-voice and approving the reports.
• Actively involved in all parts tooling kick off activity (TGA).
• Extensive experience in leading Exterior Design projects in the area of Bumper System .
• Customer Interaction and Technical Reviews of the Design.

• Responsibility of front bumper from scratch to design phase
• Preparing Master section with surrounding parts
• Making of engineering data with consideration of all criteria
• Involve with CAE team to meet strength of individual parts

• Currently what role is playing in Stellantis exactly same activities were performed in RNTBCI.

• Designing multiple Mold &checking Fixture design
• Feasibility Study of Components
• Interaction with Customers for issues regarding Draft on A Surfaces. If Textured.
• Component Development – Make the component suitable for moulding such as removing under cuts, adding draft and adding & removing the ribs.
• Modifying fastening features like dog housing, star locator, snap fits etc.
• Gained exposure in Tool Room, Manufacturing & Assembly Processes
