Responsible for threat actor-based investigations using SIEM, EDR, Email gateway, assisting new detection methodology to the SOC Monitoring & IR team in analysis and resolution of major incidents.
Collect, analyze, investigate, store, and disseminate indicators of compromise (IOCs).
Escalate true positives to Incident status and assist in relevant incident response.
Perform end-to-end threat hunting, developing, maturing, and maintaining TTP or attack pattern detection techniques record.
Performed security controls efficacy analysis. Collaborate with the IR, all security controls teams to recommend and mitigate the effects caused by an incident.
Communicate effectively with representatives of the technology specialists, lines of business, customers, and vendors.
Perform risk analysis, attack simulation, application-level automated & manual Ethical Hacking, and develop proof-of-concept exploits.
Analyzed network traffic logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection system alerts, and antivirus reports to identify potential threats.
Responded promptly to cyber incidents by analyzing attack signatures, isolating affected systems, and restoring normal operations.
Created detailed incident reports following a successful breach or other security events.
Updated existing processes and procedures related to cybersecurity best practices regularly.
Maintained up-to-date knowledge of evolving cybersecurity trends and technologies.
