Responsibilities

• Analyze method statement (MS), do risk assessment with safety and operational TBM teams, and make sure it should be implemented throughout process with proper permit system.
• During project program or project life cycle, connect with design team for drawings and with clients for approval as per their expectations; define plan, schedule, and process of production to TBM and other execution teams.
• Involved in recruitment and procurement processes and checked subcontractor's evaluation report based on capability in work and material request or approval, respectively.
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
• Drove operational improvements which resulted in savings and improved profit margins.

Achievements

• Compared to client's 40 days dragged through program for two TBMs, finished and launched of both TBMs in 21 & 15 days and saved 44 days of project.
• Performed reverse engineering on few spares like STP PU filters, cutter spare etc. and purchased same at 1/3rd of amount from local vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare method statements (MS), prepare tunnel program with project team, raise resource requirements, and conduct weekly and monthly progress meetings so work goes on within time, cost, and quality frame in efficient manner.
• Daily permits are issued for hot work, confined space, and lifting activities as per safety standards, in conjunction with workplace safety and quality observation, NCRs, and being part of quality control audits and procedures.
• Learned new skills and applied to daily tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Worked within applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines to promote safe working environment.
• Participated in continuous improvement by generating suggestions, engaging in problem-solving activities to support teamwork

Achievements

• During initial drive of TBM by umbilical, innovated and fabricated structure for muck disposal and saved 30 days of project by using it in 3 initial drives.
• Modify TBM backup gantry and design extension conveyor frame so maximum muck skips can accommodate and increase ring production from 5 rings to 9 rings per shift.
