1. Impact of Shock Waves on the Structure and Dynamics of Polymer Nano-composites (PNCs),
Addition of nano-particles (NPs) to polymer hosts is a well-practiced method for augmenting various properties of the host, including mechanical strength, thermal stability, barrier properties, and wear resistance. Hence, lately there has been an active interest in using PNCs as shock mitigater for protective equipments in case of a bomb explosion. In this work we are experimentally investigating the impact of shock waves on the fundamental physical properties of PNCs. Our long term goal is to design a nano-composite material offering best resistance to shock waves.
2. Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Using Zeolites as a Catalyst
The Project was more emphasized on the heterogeneous catalyst, describes the preparation method of zeolites and the characterization techniques used to uncover its detailed structure and properties. Due to the complexity of the mechanism, developing accurate kinetic models is still a topic of research
3. Separation of Waste Water to Purified Water through Reverse osmosis,
The aim of the Project was to Seperate the Sewage Water into Drinkable water with the help of RO. As there's a water crisis in our Country so we treated Sewage Water with RO and converted it into Purified form. The main aim was to minimize the Cost of water treatment. Azeotropic Distillation of Ethanol-Water using Aspen Hysys, I have successfully simulated an azeotropic distillation system for separating ethanol-water mixture using benzene as the entrainer and achieved the purity of 99.90% of ethanol also found the optimum condition of reflux ratio 5 and number of stages of the separation were 20. The main aim was to reduce the Cost of the seperation and to recover maximum % of ethanol.
