• This project is focused on developing a classification model to predict mortality caused by heart failure based on various health parameters. (Data source : https://www.kaggle.com/)
• The target variable, 'Death Event,' indicates whether a patient has deceased during treatment.
• I have implemented various data preprocessing and EDA techniques, such as visualization methods like bar charts, histograms, and box plots, as well as conducted bivariate analysis using ANOVA and chi-square tests.
• Additionally, I addressed outliers using the IQR method and capping and flooring techniques.
• To optimize model accuracy, I experimented with multiple classification algorithms, including Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, ADABOOST, XGBOOST, and KNN. This project enhanced my proficiency in data preprocessing, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithm selection.
