• RBI Engineer and Inspection Engineer In-charge for Delayed Coker Unit (DCU), Above Ground Storage Tanks and Utility Boilers.
• As RBI facilitator, conduct Risk Based Inspection workshops for process units using Shell RBI Software and RBI induction training for all relevant departments’ engineers. In addition - uploading inspection history data, preparation of corrosion loops, Corrosion Control Documents, carrying out corrosion loop analysis and making inspection task plan.
• Responsible for keep updating the inspection data in RBI software and accordingly informing updated inspection frequencies to responsible engineers.
• Apply subject matter expertise in reliability improvement programs to identify chronic bad actors and identify long-term solution for the same.
• Instrumental in developing/ updating inspection & corrosion procedures manual of KNPC.
• Responsible for assessment on extending endorsement time of PM equipment.
• Conduct and participate in Root Cause Analysis workshops for repetitive and critical failures and providing a thorough analysis & sound recommendations. Complete recommended action items pertaining to static equipment/ piping.
• Identification of condition monitoring locations - CMLs based on relevant corrosion damage mechanisms.

• Perform (level 1 & 2) or manage Fitness for Service assessment for critical items per API-579. Experienced in Remaining Life Assessment of Heater tubes.
• Develop specialized welding WPS/ PQR like temper bead welding, reformer tube welding etc.
• Review fabrication drawings for proper material selection and design per the applicable codes and standards.
• Review and approval of Inspection Test Plan (ITP) / Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) submitted by vendor for procurement of new equipment.
• Conduct material inspection in compliance with purchase order, review & verification of material test certificates for various materials.
• Involved in the administration of preparing and updating Inspection worksheet for shutdown/ turnarounds, providing recommendations to mechanical maintenance section / contractors for repairing static equipment & piping while preparing completion report of the same using Maximo/ SAP system and best utilization of Manpower during shutdowns.
• Inspections of PRV / Safety Valves pop tests as received, during dismantling, after assembly pop, reseat, and leak tests as per inspection policy schedules and API standards.
• Radiography film Interpretation and Co-ordination with all NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT and advanced NDT) activities.
