Work History

Researcher (Intern)

BRDC-Brahmastra Research & Development center
  • Successfully designed and assembled Surveillance drone using CatiaV5.
  • Tested the drone stability and achieved, maneuvering at 10,000ft altitude with six different RPM's for 24hours.

Extended Research Project

  • Designed the model of Boeing 747 wing using Abaqus.
  • Conducted a study by testing the wing under multiple loading conditions and forces acting on the surface of the wings.
  • Utilized ATOM (Abaqus Topology Optimization Tool) for optimizing the wing to reduce the mass while maintaining structural stability and integrity.
  • Ultimately achieving a total of 8% of weight reduction while maintaining the performance and structural integrity.

Aircraft Navigation System Simulation

  • Modeling and simulation of a strapped-down inertial measuring unit (IMU).
  • Investigated the factors governing the response of a multi-degree of freedom model of an IMU, and basic error prediction.
  • Simulating the dynamics of IMU by integrating the navigation equations in Simulink and Matlab.

Analysis of Helicopter Rotor Noise

  • Designed and assembled the helicopter rotor blades and helicopter rotor hub using Solidworks.
  • Successfully achieved and analyzed the noise generated by variants of NACA aerofoils at multiple RPM's using Ansys Fluent.
