When I graduated from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine, my interests were poultry medicine and pathology, and laboratory diagnostics. However, opportunity and practicality lead to a rewarding career in equine and small animal private practice. At this point in my career, however, I plan to step away from private practice while still wanting to utilizing my skills and talents, and participation in the ONE Health model of our public health role.
