Project - Client Insights (CI)

• Client Insights is a portal built by FIS which is used by Financial Advisors in US to manage their clients' portfolio by keeping track of their assets, liabilities and investments. It also aids Financial Advisors in doing systematic asset allocation by considering their clients' past investments, debts and their risk-taking appetite.

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Built functionalities from scratch by gathering requirements from product, analyzing them, collaborating with UI developer, deciding on JSON response from backend, and coding REST APIs accordingly.
• Wrote end to end REST APIs using Java 11 and Spring Boot with Hibernate serving as ORM tool and SQL Server as database.
• Wrote unit test cases using JUnit 5 and Mockito.
• Groomed junior developers of the team by resolving their technical and functional queries related to the product.

Project - Enterprise Payments Platform (EPP)

• EPP is a payments portal for one of the largest credit card networks in the US viz. Discover Network and its partners.
• One of the key features of any payments network is disputes. Setting up a seamless dispute resolution system for Discover Network was the primary focal point.

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Coded REST APIs on disputes and its lifecycle stages using Java 8, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate and Oracle database.
• Observed intercommunication between disputes and other microservices using RestTemplate.
• Wrote unit test cases using JUnit 4 and Mockito.
• Picked brains of senior developers to better understand the know-hows of coding.
