Supervision/Administration

• Currently supervising a full-time Student Organizations Coordinator, an Office Services Assistant for Space Reservations, two Graduate Assistants, and subordinate student employees.
• Prior to division-wide restructuring, supervised Graduate Assistant for Leadership, Assistant Director of Community Engagement, Senior Assistant Director of Outdoor Adventures, and subordinate professional, graduate, and student employees.
• Worked collaboratively with the Director and existing staff to define the mission, vision, structure, culture, and priorities for a new student-serving organization formed by the merger of two formerly unrelated departments.
• Worked collaboratively with the Director and staff to launch the Club Hub co-working space for student organization leaders. Envisioned space utilization, and developed policies, procedures, and hours of operation. Created Involvement Ambassador student employee role.
• Facilitated implementation of the University's Student Organization Policy, including student organization re-classification, policy review, procedural changes, training, transition of student group financial accounts to off-campus and university accounts, and related communication.
• Coordinate and implement the annual student organization re-registration process. Developed distinct Anthology Engage registration processes for different organization types, incorporated campus partner needs, and collaborated on Lean Process Improvement review.
• Envisioned and implemented a new event approval process in Anthology Engage, in tandem with the campus Engage/25Live integration for space reservation requests. Collaborated with campus partners to identify needs, clarify processes, demonstrate functionality, train staff, and troubleshoot issues.
• Served as Assistant Program Coordinator for the Indiana University LeaderShape Institute, Fall 2019–Spring 2023.
• Facilitated S.W.O.T. analysis for IU Outdoor Adventures.

Advising

• Provide guidance and support to leaders and advisors of more than 900 registered student organizations on issues related to registration, campus policies, procedures, event approval, event planning, space reservations, activities, risk management, finances, organization dynamics, and leadership.
• Championed the creation of the How-To Workshop Series for Student Organizations.
• Presented workshops for student leaders on event planning, re-registration, Anthology Engage platform functionality, Student Involvement and Leadership Center resources and services, and related policies.
• Co-advise the Indiana University Funding Board. Assisted Directors with policy interpretation and communication needs, advised the IUFB Bylaws Committee, refined and maintained the funding request processes in Anthology Engage.
• Act as the final reviewer in the approval routing for all Indiana University Funding Board funding requests, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, viewpoint neutrality, and consistency in decision-making.
• Advised the Indiana University Student Government Congress and Election Board. Provided support and guidance to Speakers of Congress through weekly meetings, advised the election manager on processes and policy interpretation, and created election ballots in the Anthology Engage platform.
• Provided general support for Indiana University Student Government by sharing feedback and guidance on Constitution and bylaws amendments, facilitating group email account creation and student access, supporting website content management and student access, creating Machforms, accompanying student leaders to the Association of Big Ten Students meeting, and collaborating with co-advisors on advising strategy and overall support needs of the organization.

Provided leadership and vision for the Student Life area, serving a student body exceeding 7,000 students, including the administration of student organizations, student government, engagement initiatives, signature events, orientation, and scholarships.

Supervision/Administration

• Supervised three professional staff, up to six support staff members, and a graduate assistant.
• Monitored undergraduate program finances, including 40 accounts totaling more than $4.75 million; ensured budget compliance, tracked financial transactions, approved expenditures, and generated reports.
• Developed, implemented, and managed the Kelley Student Organization registration process, and the related Kelley Student Organization policy.
• Co-director of Camp Kelley, a four-day off-site orientation program for 110 first-year business students. Included collaboration on concept development and program design; selection, training, and supervision of student peer leaders; and program implementation.
• Served as staff trip leader for twelve international study tours across five continents.
• Presented student involvement breakout sessions at Direct Admit Day yield events.
• Communicated effectively with multiple constituents, including the Business Office, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Marketing, Student Life and Learning, University Student Services and Systems, department chairs, faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Advising

• Provided guidance to leaders and advisors of approximately 66 Kelley organizations on issues of leadership, activities, finances, registration, campus procedures, and policies.
• Developed a Student Organization Canvas site to address common areas of concern and training needs for student organization leaders.
• Advised Kelley Student Government; worked closely with the Executive Board to develop and implement committee initiatives, facilitate the student organization funding process, manage the budget, and ensure student accountability.
• Initiated the formation of Out@Kelley; advised student leaders on planning and activities.
• Collaborated with faculty to facilitate student participation and success in local, regional, and international case competitions.

• Developed and implemented Undergraduate Program scholarship systems and processes including online application.
• Designed, developed, and maintained content for a comprehensive scholarship website.
• Launched the Mitte Scholars program, implementing procedures and systems to ensure ongoing compliance with stringent donor selection and reporting requirements.
• Advised the Mitte Society; created and implemented the Mitte Scholar orientation program.
• Communicated effectively with multiple constituents, including the Business Office, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Web & Digital Media, IU Foundation, Office of the Bursar, department chairs, faculty, staff, students, parents, and donors.

• Advised undergraduate students of all ages on a wide variety of academic and personal issues, including admission and degree requirements, program planning, and major choice.
• Presented weekly Informational Sessions to prospective students and their families.

Responsible for all aspects of student organization services at USI, including the sorority and fraternity community. Responsible for implementing portions of the Connections orientation programs for incoming students.

Supervision/Administration

• Supervised the Student Development staff in the absence of the director. Staff included the Program Advisor, Program Director, Administrative Assistant, and three student directors.
• Maintained standards and accountability among student organizations by enforcing University policy and collaborating with the Dean of Students on judicial matters.
• Coordinated the annual registration process for more than 90 student organizations.
• Hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 30 'AMIGO' student orientation leaders.
• Developed and implemented a revised selection process for AMIGO staff.
• Co-fiscal agent on 16 accounts totaling more than $375,000.00.

Advising

• Advised two fraternity and sorority governing councils, related honor societies, and officers.
• Through collaboration with students and other University departments, promoted ongoing educational programming within the fraternity/sorority community.
• Facilitated the growth of the fraternity/sorority community; coordinated sorority extension, assisted IFC expansion planning, and supported the establishment of NPHC organizations.
• Developed and implemented academic eligibility policy for fraternity/sorority membership, contributing to substantial GPA increases for fraternities and sororities.
• Facilitated the formation of the Student Greek Housing Committee and the Staff/Student Greek Housing Master Plan Committee.
