• Key Responsibilities:

Teaching English at junior college level (11th and 12th classes), covering prescribed syllabi and enrichment materials.

Designing lesson plans, worksheets and assessments aligned with the HSC board requirements.

Using collaborative, activity- based and gender-sensitive teaching strategies to engage diverse learners.

Coordinated internal examinations, ensuring timely timetable planning, efficient invigilation, accurate result compilation, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Served as class teacher of class 11th, handling student issues, discipline and parent communication. Led departmental meetings, minutes writing and follow-up on academic decisions.

Coordinated academic timetables for the entire arts section of the junior college and also the English department.

Coordinated the arts admissions very systematically and followed the guidelines provided by the department of education.

Participated in SQAAF documentation, data collection and report presentation.

Supervised and mentored new teachers in lesson planning and classroom management, fostering a supportive environment for professional growth.

Organised literary events such as creative writing and debates, guiding students to excel in elocution competitions across multiple junior colleges.

Participated as a Resource person to train teachers from secondary schools and Junior colleges about the implementation of the NEP.

Completed a course from TISS in Communicative English Language Teaching Strategies and secured 'O' grade.
