1. Production Planning and Control:

• Prepare monthly production plans and monitor progress
• Create material requirement plans for the month
• Prepare monthly contract manpower requirements
• Create monthly equipment PM schedules in coordination with the maintenance team

2. Resource Management:

• Ensure required manpower for smooth operation, raw material and consumables, and equipment availability
• Coordinate with procurement and store for raw materials and consumables

3. Quality Assurance:

• Oversee quality control processes through critical parameters - Coordinate with quality assurance teams
• Collect and validate data during plant trials

4. Team Leadership and Management:

• Engage and motivate production teams for improvement areas
• Provide operator and staff training and development
• Monitor operator and shift in charge performance
• Ensure new process and product implementations
• Prepare required process data, reports, and presentations
• Maintain all department-related records and documents in SAP

5. Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process optimization - Implement and ensure best practices and adherence of SOPs
• Take continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as QHSE auditee and auditor for internal and external ISO audits, manage documents

6. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, pollution control board norms, and safety standards and guidelines
• Be responsible for the RCM task
• Eliminate department-related unsafe acts and conditions (BBSO Module)
• Be responsible for the use of 100% PPE on floor personnel, Zero LTI Targets

7. Technology and Innovation:

• Ensure the requirements and progress of new technology into production processes
• Encourage data-driven process analytics

8. Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate with other departments (maintenance, store, QA, Marketing, EHS)
• Report to DH, and in the absence of DH, directly to the unit head
• Ensure required communication to the client and vendor

9. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

• Handle production-related issues and challenges
• Make decisions to optimize production

10. Project Management:

• Manage and implement plant trials of improvement projects and new products
• Prepare project data and output reports and share and present

• Working as a Shift in charge in aluminium melting and casting ,rolling mill section
• Responsible for shiftwise production target with desired product quality.
• Working knowlede in SAP PP Module.
• Involved in the monthly material auditing & Monthly MIS preparation.
• Collections of Quality performance Feed back & carry out Corrective actions.
• Ensuring the safety, healthy and hygienic environment.
• Responsible for controlling all cost affecting parameters like FO & Power consumption, Melting Loss, Dross Generation, Scrap handling etc.
