Handling and mitigating the internal risks of the firm associated with accepting new client or an engagement or risk associated with any of on-going audit/ non-audit engagement
Facilitates and drives the process to completion by following up on requests from RMS Consultants and assisting the client team
Acts as a liaison between the client teams, other members of the RMS team, and various functional areas within the firm
Performs initial review of submissions from client teams and evaluates completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of proposed requests
Manages tasks and activities in a timely manner and is responsible for specific outcomes
Performing detailed background research through use of internal (EY developed) as well as external databases to ensure that all the dealings with engagement team member practices and audit clients are fair and independent
Suggesting potential methods of solutions with reference to existing policies; however, due to frequency of unique situations will need to research issues and, through situation specific inquiries, propose solutions to issues to engagement teams
Daily call with the clients worldwide to identify the background of each work request performed and thereby ensure quality services to the clients
Preparation of daily volume reports for senior managers and allocation of work requests within the team to ensure they are completed within TAT with the help of basic sorting, filtering and look up functions in excel
Driving project to completion within promised timelines, performance of complete project review to ensure 100% quality on projects delivered to the engagement team
Facilitate process training for new joiners, assist seniors in curating Standard Operating Procedures and documents
Actively participate in brainstorming in process updates and assisted in development and improvement of EY Internal independence tools basis the user feedbacks.
